Grandpa's Blessing Continues

I'm stricken by the power, grace and love of God as displayed through Grandpa's words.

I just watched for the first time the recording of my conversation with Grandpa Honey in August of 2008. It was powerful to me and life changing/transforming. I haven't been the same since... though I've had my reverting moments. Even so, the Spirit of God has been strongly upon me since these events early in my "tragic period" of life. My mourning has often turned to singing and praise. God is good.

I'll be sharing this video soon, for I think it has power to bless others also. Thank God this was recorded. I needed to hear it again.

By the way, I've spoken recently how the Bible reading plan I'm on is constantly connecting with what I'm doing in life, what's happening in my church and in the world. It's no joke. Dave, my friend and elder at Ethnos who has been working with me has verbally noted the same on more than one occasion recently. It's almost ridiculous how relevant and timely the readings seem to be. I just now noticed that the last thing I read in Genesis 27 (I'm a couple days behind again) was Isaac blessing Jacob. This "just so happens" to be one of the two Old Testament events that inspired me directly to ask for my Grandpa's blessing. The other was Elijah blessing his successor, Elisha, with a "double portion of his spirit". More on that later though...
