Batman Spreads Wings
It's too bad I didn't take the time to draw a background for this Batman. I went through a short phase where I was trying to create photo-realistic Batmen. Here I tried to create the illusion of shadow. Shadow doesn't always take mind to good lighting, so his eyes are simply enveloped in the darkness, as are many other parts. This particular pose was made famous in the first modern Batman movie with Michael Keaton. In the movie, Batman spreads his wings (cape) high like this before attacking his prey. The idea is that he strikes fear in their hearts and uses this as an advantage.
