"Batman Returns" was long considered in my own estimation to be my best drawing. I suppose I still like it, and it is indeed one of my best attempts at realism. I guess it is a demonstration of my skills at the top of their precision. I developed a "secret" technique that allowed me to achieve nice gradation. It's no secret technique, but since I was never really schooled in art, I think of it as that. After all, I discovered it on my own! This drawing portrays Michael Keaton dressed up as Batman in the second Batman movie directed by Tim Burton. I'm a bit of a Batman fan (or was).
