He is Lord
Celebrate the sovereignty of the Lord today, and He will lift us up. He will not bind us.
Cower in fear at His immortal presence. You cannot flee from Him. He does not die.
He is Lord, He is Lord. He has power over Death and Hades. In Him no darkness dwells.
Almighty is His name, He is fearsome. His wrath flares up, yet He is slow to anger
Rich in love. It is in this wealth that we dwell, with all creation we are bound to His love. By Him and through Him we are all sustained.
Flood my heart, my eyes with Light. My salvation comes from You alone. Jesus is His name! Jesus is His name! The One who saves me and floods my eyes with Light!
Let there be no doubt who He is! He is the perfect reflection of Almighty God. Jesus is His name!
So much pride has brought us to the point where we need His image of humility to be reflected in us. Not U.S., not Us, but us. Mistakes made, lessons learned. How far back to slavery we've gone, yet His Light redeems us each and every one. We are not bound, except to His love.

Did a Google search afterward... Jesus is Lord interestingly found this... didn't read the whole thing (that would require patience)... but it reflects some of my sentiments, especially as hashed out in my conversation with Jason this evening.
Who can justify themselves or find praise in what they themselves do? Who would listen and no one should. Jesus is Lord, and He alone is sovereign.
