Blow the Sacred Elf Trumpet
It is obvious this guy has a crush on Zone Girl. We assume it is zone girl who is posing in the background, as "ZG" is inscribed on her costume. Her powers and abilities are unknown. This guy, though a commoner, has some shred of hope that he has a chance with Zone Girl. Perhaps he is in a profession that often brings him close to her. He is too shy to express himself and feels unworthy of her attention.
It is not clear what a light gatherer is. Perhaps this man is performing his profession with the mysterious panels he carries. Or perhaps he is simply dancing to impress Zone Girl. Maybe he was commanded to dance and feels self-conscious, wishing he had a higher status and freedom.
It is unknown what Zone Girl's feelings are. No one knows her identity, and some are unsure if she is even human. She rarely appears for periods longer than to accomplish a heroic act and never displays emotion. It is possible that beneath her costume she is amused by the man and his panels.
I'm totally not skilled in drawing human anatomy. I never studied anything like this. Anything I draw only bears any resemblance to real forms due to years of observation. I prefer drawing cartoons because I am not bound by any rules of drawing a certain way. The reason I almost never draw women is that I find their form more difficult to capture. Most of my characters are men or have no obvious gender. I find men are easier to draw, as they can be virtually any shape. I was relatively pleased at this extremely rare attempt at a female form. I realize it is imperfect, but I feel it turned out okay in spite of my lack of knowledge of such forms.
