Not to defeat the purpose of incorporating the logo into the natural scene, but I decided it needed to "pop out" from the background a bit - while keepin its reflections and refractions of the tree behind. I did this by rendering every mask option Bryce provides, which include object mask, distance mask and altitude mask.
An object mask simply renders a black and white version of the scene with each object as solid black or white so masking complex outlines is a cinch. The altitude and distance masks generate a grayscale image with levels varying depending on the depth or height of the objects in the image. I used the object mask to create a separate bitmap object out of the logo, and so I could add glowing and bevel effects to make it stand out a bit. I also increased the contrast and saturation of the background image.
