This and the next three slides are the first taken at the Zoo in mid-October 2006. While sitting near the outdoor stage at the zoo, I saw this vivid tree close to the path going towards the African Rainforest. These photos really don't do justice to the brightness and saturation of the colors that my eyes saw. I know it happens everywhere, every year; yet this year I have taken notice of the transition stage of leaves changing colors for the first time I can remember. Part of a single tree is green, while another part is yellow. Or one part is yellow, and another bright orange. Or even a single leaf can vary so much in color. Crazy creation this God (The One and Only) came up with. I can't think of any reason for these colors other than beauty. It certainly doesn't follow logic and scientific theories or whatnot.
