Here's where I started thinking about some religious meaning behind the symbols. The E of Ethos remains. A line is placed below the 3 heads to signify that the 3 are united (possibly holding hands, or at least in tune with each other on the horizontal level). The "V" shape below the heads signifies that the 3 people are all part of one body, signifying both 1) the body of Christ, and 2) our commonality in humanity.
