Digital Compositing

Next I worked on the canvas shelves. I probably could have gone offsite to one of our customer's stores and shot the full scene with all the shelves in correct perspective, but I opted to use a shelf in our conference room at work. I grabbed a bunch of canvases from the warehouse and filled the shelf in.

Knowing full well that I would need several good angle shots, I cleared the room of obstacles, set my tripod at a specific height and angle, and rotated around the shelf while taking several pictures. It is at this point where it became necessary to decide the angle of the composition. I tried to shoot all the pictures from here on out as if looking down from just over average head height. It's important to keep the angles on all the element photos relatively similar so the perspective of the composition doesn't break apart and lose credibility.
