Spontaneous Cabin Retreat

The roads were absolutely littered with thick gravel in the form of red lava rock. The first section of road going up the mountains was the worst because there was only rock, no ice or snow. This was bad because it was so coarse that I felt the need to go about 35 to 40 miles per hour. The trip probably took about 50% longer than it would have under normal conditions.
