Concept 9: Using the 3D cross as a base, here's where I started thinking about concepts that actually relate to our church's unique strengths, community and family being one. The group of stick figures is surrounding the cross, and the center figure is sharing his love in the form of a heart.
Concept 10: Dots connected by energy. I guess I was trying to think of some way to show the power of the network of people. Skipped that, however, the dots came into play in the final. These connections and developments are important and interesting to watch.
Concept 11: Another stained glass inspired cross and a hand or wing blob.
Concept 12: I kinda liked this shape. It started with a crescent cross, but each branch of the cross was distorted and curved. It resulted in this bird-like angelic being. For some reason the shape spoke to me "Evangel"... I guess it's like a messenger of good news. Interesting, but I didn't really use this idea in the later designs.
