Much of the background still needs to be selected after this first click. The dark areas surrounding the shopping cart in the small thumbnail represent the unfinished areas in the selection. Make sure the add to selection dropper tool is active, and click-and-drag in these dark areas of the image, being careful not to drag over part of the shopping cart. No need for perfection at this point. The next step will get rid of some of the leftover stray pixels.
