I guess I wasn't aware of the beautiful variety of pumpkins available. I'm not so much into Halloweenesque traditions anymore, so pumpkins don't appeal to me that much. I do very much enjoy pumpkin bread, though you won't catch me trying to make [ruin of] it. It's interesting that the stalkier variety - the dark orange ones pictured here - are commonly called "Cinderella". I wonder what they were called before the movie/story became popular.
